Hi, I’m Pim and I work as a Business Development Manager at tSF.
I studied Marketing at Karel de Grote University College, where I discovered my passion for communication, strategy, and understanding what drives people’s decisions. After graduating, I realized that I wanted to focus even more on the commercial side of business and that’s how I found my way into business development.
What I love most about my role? Definitely the social interaction. I enjoy connecting with clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the right solutions. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of closing a deal and knowing that both sides feel good about the outcome. It’s motivating and rewarding at the same time.
What keeps me going is the constant variety in my job, no two days are the same. With my background in business development, I’m always sharpening my skills in building relationships and finding the best solutions for clients.
Moreover, I am learning more and more about cybersecurity, which adds a new dimension to my work. I’m not a pentester, but working closely with experts and clients has taught me a lot about the risks and challenges companies face today. It’s rewarding to help protect clients by guiding them through these challenges and finding ways to keep their data and systems safe.
Outside of work, you’ll probably catch me running because I’m training for a half marathon, so there’s no escape. When I’m not running, I’m either playing padel, cheering on KV Mechelen (through thick and thin), or having a drink with friends.
